Glow One — A refined foundation

Designed for everyday homes. Storage-led, calm, and reliable.

Glow One is a carefully designed home energy system, built around how your home generates, stores, and uses energy — today and over time.

Designed for everyday homes

Glow One is designed for homes with typical daily energy use, where solar generation and battery storage can work together to cover a meaningful portion of everyday demand.

It’s ideal for households that want a well-balanced system — one that improves self-consumption, reduces reliance on the grid, and delivers predictable performance without unnecessary complexity.

Every Glow One system is designed around how the home is used today, with careful consideration for how those needs may change over time.

Typical system design

Every Glow One system is designed individually, based on the home, its energy use, and how those needs are expected to evolve.

That said, Glow One systems are typically designed within the following ranges:

  • Solar generation: approximately 4–6 kWp
  • Battery storage: approximately 5–10 kWh
  • Inverter capacity: single-phase, typically 3–6 kW

These ranges reflect real-world design outcomes rather than fixed packages. Final system sizing is always determined through the design process, taking into account the property, roof layout, usage patterns, and future requirements.

Glow One uses the same best-in-class panel standard as every Glow system. What changes is layout and total capacity — not quality.

A complete system, by design

Glow One is not a collection of individual products. It’s a complete home energy system, designed as a single, integrated whole.

Solar generation, battery storage, and inverter capacity are specified together to ensure the system operates in balance — avoiding the compromises that come from bolting parts together after the fact.

By designing the system as one from the outset, Glow One delivers calmer performance, greater reliability, and a system that feels considered rather than assembled.

High-efficiency solar generation

Glow systems are built on premium, high-efficiency solar panels selected for performance, longevity, and visual quality.

Rather than offering multiple panel options, Glow standardises on best-in-class technology across all systems — ensuring consistent output, fewer panels per roof, and a cleaner overall installation.

Panel layout and total generation capacity are designed specifically for each roof, taking into account orientation, shading, and available space. The goal is always the same: maximise usable generation without compromise.

Solar generation is not treated as a standalone component, but as the foundation of the wider Glow system.

Storage-led from day one

Glow One is designed around battery storage from the outset.

Rather than treating storage as an optional extra, Glow One uses integrated, wall-mounted battery systems to ensure energy generated during the day can be stored and used when it’s needed most — not just when the sun is shining.

This storage-led approach improves self-consumption, reduces reliance on the grid, and creates a calmer, more predictable energy experience for everyday living.

Designed to adapt

Glow One is intentionally well-balanced — designed to meet everyday needs without unnecessary complexity.

At the same time, systems are designed with change in mind. As households evolve, energy use often changes too, and Glow One is specified to allow for sensible adjustments over time.

Whether that’s increased demand, new ways of using energy, or additional system integrations, Glow One provides a stable foundation that can adapt without needing to be rethought from scratch.

Optional system integration

Glow One is designed as a complete home energy system.
Where it adds genuine value, additional system integrations can also be included — specified to work seamlessly with the core system.

These integrations are never bolted on as afterthoughts. They’re considered as part of the wider system design, ensuring everything works together calmly and reliably.

EV charging

EV charging can be included as part of a Glow One system where required.

Rather than treating charging as a standalone product, Glow specifies EV chargers in context — aligned with the home’s electrical supply, inverter capacity, and battery storage. This ensures charging fits naturally into how energy is generated, stored, and used.

Charging capacity is typically designed within a 3.5 kW to 22 kW range, depending on the home and usage requirements.

Delivered through Glow Networks

Glow One systems are delivered through Glow Networks — a coordinated approach to installing systems within the same area during planned delivery windows.

By grouping installations locally, Glow is able to maintain consistent standards, reduce disruption, and deliver systems in a calmer, more controlled way.

This approach protects quality without compromising on individual system design, ensuring every Glow One installation meets the same high standard.

Is Glow One right for you?

Glow One is designed for homeowners who want a well-considered approach to home energy — without unnecessary complexity.

It’s a strong fit if you’re looking for:

  • A high-quality solar and storage system designed as a whole
  • Predictable, everyday performance
  • Clarity and long-term thinking over short-term fixes

If you value calm design, thoughtful specification, and a system that fits how your home is actually used, Glow One is designed with you in mind.

Next steps

If Glow One feels like the right foundation for your home, the next step is a design-led conversation.

We’ll take the time to understand how your home uses energy today, how that may change in the future, and design a system that fits properly from the start.

Glow One is part of a wider system range.

If your home has higher energy demand, clearer future plans, or more complex requirements, Glow Plus and Glow Max offer greater capacity and flexibility — designed using the same principles.
