Every Glow Plus system is designed around how the home uses energy today, with additional capacity and flexibility built in to support what comes next.
Typical system design
Every Glow Plus system is designed individually, based on the home, its energy use, and how those requirements are expected to evolve.
Glow Plus systems are typically designed within the following ranges:
- Solar generation: approximately 6–9 kWp
- Battery storage: approximately 10–20 kWh
- Inverter capacity: typically 6–10 kW, single- or three-phase, depending on the home
These ranges reflect real-world design outcomes rather than fixed packages. Final system sizing is always determined through the design process, taking into account the property, roof layout, daily demand, and future electrification plans.
Glow Plus uses the same best-in-class panel standard as every Glow system. What changes is overall capacity and flexibility — not quality.

What sets Glow Plus apart is the additional capacity designed in from the start. Solar generation, battery storage, and inverter capability are specified together to ensure the system operates in balance, even as demand increases.

High-efficiency solar generation
Glow systems are built on premium, high-efficiency solar panels selected for performance, longevity, and visual quality.
Rather than offering multiple panel options, Glow standardises on best-in-class technology across all systems — ensuring consistent output, fewer panels per roof, and a cleaner overall installation.
Panel layout and total generation capacity are designed specifically for each roof, taking into account orientation, shading, and available space. The goal is always the same: maximise usable generation without compromise.
Solar generation is not treated as a standalone component, but as the foundation of the wider Glow system.
Storage-led, with greater flexibility
Glow Plus is designed around battery storage from the outset, with greater capacity and flexibility built into the system design.
Using modular, stackable storage, Glow Plus allows energy to be captured, stored, and used across longer periods of the day — supporting higher evening demand and more varied household usage.
This storage-led approach improves self-consumption, reduces reliance on the grid, and provides the flexibility needed as homes increasingly electrify.

Any integrations are considered as part of the wider system design — ensuring they work in harmony with solar generation, battery storage, and inverter capacity, rather than operating in isolation.
EV charging
EV charging can be included as part of a Glow Plus system where required.
With greater capacity designed in from the start, Glow Plus is well suited to homes that already have an electric vehicle, or expect one in the near future. Chargers are specified in context — aligned with the home’s electrical supply, inverter capability, and battery storage.
Charging capacity is typically designed within a 3.5 kW to 22 kW range, depending on the home and usage requirements.
Delivered through Glow Networks
Glow Plus systems are delivered through Glow Networks — a coordinated approach that groups nearby installations into planned delivery windows.
This model allows systems to be installed efficiently and consistently, while maintaining the design quality and attention to detail required for more capable, higher-capacity systems.
